The Restoration & Archiving Trust
The Trust has a growing range of railway related projected digital slide shows that are available for presentation to interested groups. These are of varying lengths and can be made available during the day or in the evening. We are happy to show these at any venue within the UK but we are Gloucestershire based and travel costs obviously increase the further we travel.
A flat rate charge of £15 is made for showing any of these, along with an additional variable contribution to the travelling costs to be agreed at the time of booking. These charges are purely designed to cover costs, capital replacement of the digital projector and petrol for the presenter.

We also run our own programme of monthly meetings each winter in Stratford upon Avon maintaining a continuous series of such meetings that were started in 1967 under the name of the Stratford upon Avon Railway Colour Group (SARCOG), and later continued by the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway's Stratford Group. These are held at the Bishopton Community Centre, Drayton Avenue, Stratford upon Avon on the first Tuesday of each month between October & March, starting at 7.45pm. The Stratford to Cheltenham Line 1904 - 1979 : A selection of Pre preservation era pictures from various contributors with a commentary outlining the history of the line

Industrial Railways of the British Isles : Photographs from a number of contributors of locomotives at work in British Industry, fully captioned but without commentary at present
Moving Coal - Railways within the Coal Industry : Photographs from a number of contributors of locomotives at work in the coal Industry, fully captioned but without commentary at present
A Survey of Iberian Steam Locomtives : Locomotive portraits from various photographers detail the vast majority of the CP & RENFE locomotive types that existed from the early 1960s plus many narrow gauge & industrial types. Commentary provided
The Railways of Portugal : a show from various photographers mainly depicting trains in action on both the broad & narrow gauge lines with commentary provided
Our digital slide presentations are given using equipment provided by a grant under the Local Heritage Initiative; a partnership between the Heritage Lottery Fund, Nationwide Building Society and the Countryside Agency. This scheme also provided much of the equipment used to archive the photographs.
