Ex Andaluces 2-8-0 number 140-2028, built by Babcock & Wilcox (153/1926), moves off Guadix shed to start her day's work on 22/6/1966. This was one of 4 engines built for the Alquife Mining Company which were later taken into Andaluces stock, presumably following an agreement for the Andaluces to work the line to the mines which connected with the Almeria line south of Guadix. In addition the Andaluces ordered another 15 from Babcock & Wilcox. Photo Tony Bowles
