Twin tramcar number 716 operating on route 28 approaches the outer terminus at Prazeres in Lisboa on 4/5/1964. This was one of a batch of 35 built using Maley & Taunton bogies with improved braking to work this route to Estrela on which they were the only type allowed. All except 724 were still at work on the route in 1995 but due to be replaced by the rebuilds in the 541-575 series. Photo Les Perkins
