A 2-6-4T of series 070-097 crosses the Eiffel designed Ponte de Maria Pia over the River Douro from Vila Nova de Gaia to Porto with a morning commuter train. This was replaced by a new bridge in 1991 and is now used to carry a pair of standard gauge tracks used for tram operations by the Metro do Porto - 31/7/1970. Photo Tony Bowles
